What we do is niche. As a creative direction and What we do is niche. As a creative direction and styling studio, with our photo shoot service our role begins well before the camera is turned on. We consider how and where the images will be used, how to maximise variety within a single shoot, and how to weave brand integrity, aesthetic excellence, and a cohesive story into every frame. From selecting outfits and styling locations to planning a shot list that serves both short-term needs and long-term goals across your socials and website, we help ensure every image has purpose and usability. On shoot day, we’re on-site to style, curate, and art direct—making sure every detail is on point. This also allows the photographer to focus on the capturing of the shot. We also think creatively in the moment: capturing behind-the-scenes content, suggesting fresh angles, and making sure nothing is missed. In post-production, we provide creative input during image selection and editing to ensure the final visuals align seamlessly with your brand. Our clients (and photographers) often tell us that with us involved, their shoots feel more diverse and creative. You can’t beat bringing multiple creatives together collaborating on one shoot. What does that mean for the end result? A gallery of images that are elevated, cohesive, impactful, and ready to serve your brand—strategically and beautifully—and that last you much longer. When my son was a baby I met @kathscott_photograph When my son was a baby I met @kathscott_photographer on Instagram. She hired me to style her studio space before a big workshop she ran on her property out at Esk and I loved it. We then worked together on some shoots and projects, became friends, and have stayed in contact ever since. Recently she came to stay and took some photos of my son and I while she was here. She’s photographed us twice now and I forgot the magic she brings to a shoot. She loves the mess (opposite to our interior shoots!), she loves all the details and turns it into a work of art. She is very creative and I loved seeing my house through her eyes. My son and I have had a challenging road to navigate together at times; but for one afternoon we forgot about our to do lists, appointments, school, calendar, and projects; and were reminded of what is important. It was just what we needed. Enjoy this little look into a rare calm afternoon at our 1930’s Queenslander I have been restoring, celebrating making the most of a very tight family unit. 🤎 Photography @kathscott_photographer
