We acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi people, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations.

Consider this a gentle reminder to hop in the phot Consider this a gentle reminder to hop in the photos of your projects.

I know… it’s much easier to photograph the beautiful spaces, the finished project, the styling moments and the things we create. But the person behind the work is just as important.

As you know, I’ve been thinking about how quickly time is moving, how much technology is changing, and how our brains are adapting along with it. More than ever on socials, we want to know the humans behind the accounts we follow.

Founder content is at an all-time high, and there’s a reason for that.

Sure, I could rattle off the statistics about how these posts perform compared to more generic content (and they do almost always perform better), but here’s the thing… your online community doesn’t want to just connect with what you make — they want to know you.

They want to see the hands that put it together, the ideas behind it, the little moments that happen along the way, and the person who poured their heart into creating it.

So next time you’re on a shoot, creating something beautiful, or celebrating a milestone, jump in the photo. You don’t need to post it straight away. You don’t even need to share it at all.

But one day, when we’re older, these will be the days we look back on fondly. The projects we’re proud of. The seasons of life we’ll be grateful we captured.

Because the photos you almost didn’t take, are sometimes the ones you’ll treasure most.
Tour the new retreat wing at Weyba Country House. Tour the new retreat wing at Weyba Country House. Designed as an extension to the original Queenslander, this addition creates a private sanctuary that feels seamlessly connected to the existing home.

Complete with a generous bedroom, walk-in robe, ensuite, separate living area and its close connection to the pool, the new wing offers a peaceful retreat while honouring the character of the original house.

Outside, a floating boardwalk connects the new wing to the original Queenslander, bridging the two parts of the home while framing views across the property's duck pond.

A dreamy afternoon at Weyba Country House with hom A dreamy afternoon at Weyba Country House with homeowners Matt and Bec, for @countrystylemag.

Over the years, Matt and Bec have lovingly restored their Queenslander while thoughtfully adding a new wing to the home, complete with a spacious master retreat, walk-in robe, ensuite, separate living area and pool.

Set amongst towering gum and pandanus trees, the grounds also feature a magical dam often visited by a family of ducks, along with a guest house and welcoming fire pit area.

If you're in the thick of renovating at the moment, remember you're dream home is around the corner!
What if our devices aren’t just taking up our time What if our devices aren’t just taking up our time… but our ability to think creatively?

Constant content consumption keeps us reactive rather than imaginative, and over time that can quietly impact our mental health, clarity and overall mindset.

So, as promised, here is Part Two of our Digital Well series!
If Part One helped explain why our brains are so drawn to our devices, Part Two is all about what we can do about it.

Created in collaboration with clinical psychologist Graham Kell, we hope this encourages small shifts that bring more clarity, creativity and connection back into our everyday lives.
Celebrating our feature in Australian @countrystyl Celebrating our feature in Australian @countrystylemag! This home and its garden is something truly special. Every room is filled with thoughtful details, plus a sprinkling of work by local Australian artist @bylaurenhorton. It was such a joy styling her for her magazine debut.

Rather than rushing the process, they’ve taken their time, allowing both the home and the surrounding garden to evolve organically. The care they’ve invested is evident in every corner of the property, with each space feeling well-loved.

Ever since we announced our new Digital Well Serie Ever since we announced our new Digital Well Series on Instagram and in our newsletter, I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible response, support, and messages we’ve received.

So, without overthinking how to roll this series out any further (IYKYK), tonight we’re officially launching Part One!

We are so honoured to have collaborated with clinical psychologist Graham Kell to help us unpack what’s really going on with our brains in the digital space.

We explore how technology is shaping the habits we are forming and the first step we can take towards creating a new way forward.

I hope it helps — more to come soon!
