We had the chance to catch up with ceramic artist Tess Miller at her Noosa studio to talk about what inspires her. While we were there, we were lucky enough to see a glimpse of her creative process too.

I start every day in the office with an English Br

I start every day in the office with an English Breakfast tea, a to-do list as long as my arm, and a brain full (or heart full) of inspiration for the projects we are working on.

I have two sips, and I get so focused that I often forget to drink the rest!

Twelve years into Wholehearted Studio and I’m still pinching myself I get to do this and call it ‘work’. I love what I do!

TODAY'S TOP SOCIALS TIP

If you have people watching your stories, you have a fan club! You don't need to post on Instagram every single day (or multiple times a day like some recommend!), but make sure you're not forgetting your audience who love you the most.

Let your fan club see the work you do behind the scenes. At a minimum, try to aim for a series of three photos posted together a couple of times a week, so your audience can tap through the photos and get a little look into your world and work.

Stories expire in 24 hours, so there is less pressure for them to be perfect. Have fun with it! Aim for what is sustainable and consistent and remember to be kind to yourself.
