Where we work each day has a huge impact on how we feel about showing up.

That's why, when I did a makeover of our studio space, I was intentional about the pieces we sourced. From the chairs and lighting, right through to the antique table we now use as our shared work desk.

The antique table was one of those Marketplace finds so good you have to call your best friend to share the good news! A beautifully crafted New Zealand-made hardwood table, passed down through a family, who no longer had use for it.

I wanted our studio to feel like an extension of my home so a corporate office table wasn't going to cut it in this instance. The antique one I found couldn't be better suited to us and our space. 🤎

From a young age, growing up on my parents' farm,

From a young age, growing up on my parents' farm, I learned the importance of supporting local. Our farm supplied many of the local fruit shops in the area, and I started helping out from an early age. On the very first day I got my license, my dad sent me out in the van to do the delivery run.

I would hear firsthand how big companies were driving small businesses out, and that stuck with me. To this day, I continue to support local or Australian-made products whenever I can. This shoot that I have called 'Artefact' is an ode to some of my favourite Australian brands—ones you can find at your local independent grocery store.

My most recently transformed space is none other than my very own bedroom.
