Bedroom Styling Makeover

Interiors

Somewhere along the way, the room that once felt charming and full of potential started to feel a little… tired. Familiar in a way that wasn’t cosy anymore. It was well and truly time for a freshen-up.

Queenslander Home Office Makeover

Interiors

Recently I set out to give my home studio a makeover with the help of Blinds Online. My main priority was to choose an aesthetic solution for blocking out light while I was using the computer, that we could then easily raise during photo shoots to allow for more light when we needed it.

Having styled the interiors previously, it was a joy to return and style it again for the shoot.

We’ll be sharing more about the incredible suppliers involved soon, but for now enjoy this behind-the-camera moment… including yet another shoot where @mindicooke and I showed up in the same shirt! Lol!

After months of patient waiting, we’re so excited After months of patient waiting, we’re so excited to finally share that our Figtree Project has been featured in this month’s Australian Home Beautiful.

This was a deeply considered project, spanning almost two years, and one I’m incredibly proud of. Working closely with my clients, I oversaw the furniture, art and object curation, as well as the shoot styling too.

This home represents them, their children, and grandchildren, with their family story woven into every piece and detail.

We have so much more to share about this officially 'beautiful' home, but for now, please join us in celebrating our clients and their slice of paradise.

It’s been a fun way to start the year. 🫶

Back in the day, the wait was agonising. Today… still agonising. Some things never change! But if waiting means our work ends up in magazines, well, I’m happy to wait, pretend I’m fine, and will it into existence!

So, to celebrate my ongoing (and very patient) waiting… here are some of my favourite shoots from last year.

Our role was to elevate the spaces (inside and out!) with an added layer of editorial styling; introducing pieces from renowned Australian brands alongside works from independent artists.

Shot by shot, we curated and refined the placement of furniture, art, and objects to craft the visual narrative you see here.

To see more of this project, visit our portfolio page on our website.

On a side note, did you know that when you book us to style your shoot we loan anything you may need from our prop collection for your shoot? That is all included in the service.
