If you’ve been following Wholehearted Studio for any amount of time, you’ll be familiar with Oxleigh House – my 1930’s Queenslander home and passion project that I have been lovingly restoring over the last ten years.

Somewhere along the way, the room that once felt charming and full of potential started to feel a little… tired. Familiar in a way that wasn’t cosy anymore. It was well and truly time for a freshen-up.

The new studio has been an amazing space to work from. Brining a new wave of work life balance, this space has given us more than we expected.

Recently I set out to give my home studio a makeover with the help of Blinds Online. My main priority was to choose an aesthetic solution for blocking out light while I was using the computer, that we could then easily raise during photo shoots to allow for more light when we needed it.

For the last couple of months, I have been busy working on a project for @jameslanedesign and it was in my favourite location… my house! I got to choose new pieces that would work in with my existing vintage and handmade furniture, but create a new look lounge room.  This lounge is…
