Sunshine Coast Shoot Location Oxleigh House

If you’ve been following Wholehearted Studio for a while, you’ll likely recognise Oxleigh House — my 1930s Queenslander that I’ve been slowly and lovingly restoring over the past twelve years.

After years of living in what felt like a constant construction site, I’m so excited to now offer my home as a shoot location, available to hire on Aloca.

The space is thoughtfully curated with mid-century pieces and vintage finds, layered with modern curios and handmade furniture and objects. Finished in white, it offers a beautiful blank canvas — ready for you to restyle and make your own.

With three-metre-high ceilings, original ornate plaster detailing, and classic picture rails, the home retains all the charm and elegance of its era.

Indoors is a beautiful light-filled studio room and office space, plus the lounge room living area, dining room, and guest bedroom, where directional light pours in from its windows.

Outside, in the front garden the boxed hedges create the perfect spot for fashion shoots, and the outdoor verandah and fully restored exterior of the house creates a beautiful backdrop for portraits, outdoor furniture, or fashion shoots.

A rattan chair and dresser styled with flowers, overlooking a sun window. Shot of a bed, styled with Pinot Gingham and Yellow Stripe bed linen.

We’ve hosted shoots for Ziggy Alberts, James Lane, Blinds Online, Carlotta and Gee, and many more! Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Bruce Highway, the house also has easy access from the street for the entire shoot crew.

To book or tour the home, you can visit it here on Aloca.
